A squirrelly guide to understanding refunds when a device doesn’t quite land right
It depends.
Not every return situation is the same in the forest, so refund eligibility changes based on what happened with your device.
Fully Refundable Situations
Some cases are fully refundable:
- Phones that are verifiably damaged on arrival
- Devices that are lost during shipping
- Items shipped incorrectly or in error
If something went wrong on Switch Mobile’s side of the forest path, it will be made right with a full refund.
Buyer’s Remorse (Within 7 Days)
If the phone arrives safely but you simply change your mind, you can still return it within the first 7 days.
However, a $150 restocking fee applies.
So if that branch does not feel like the right fit after all, you can still hop back—just keep the fee in mind as part of the journey.
After 7 Days
After 7 days, the phone is no longer eligible for a refund.
Be sure to make your decision within that initial window so you do not miss your chance to adjust your path through the forest.
Final Note
If you are unsure about your specific situation, the safest route is to contact Support for confirmation before taking your next step.
