Transfer your number to Switch Mobile in three easy steps
- Make sure your phone and number are eligible to transfer
- Gather details from your current carrier (see the A to Z list below):
- Log in to your account or call your carrier
- Locate your account number
- Get your PIN or Number Transfer PIN
- Confirm your billing address and ZIP code
- Activate at switchmobile.com/activate
Tips for transferring your phone number
- Keep your current SIM card in your phone until the transfer is complete so you don’t miss any calls or texts.
- Once you receive confirmation that your transfer is complete, insert your new Switch Mobile SIM card to continue receiving calls and texts.
- Checking eligibility does not affect your current service.

How to transfer your number by carrier (A to Z list)
AT&T Wireless
- Account number
- To find your account number, look in the top-right corner of your bill, or go to myAT&T Profile and scroll to My linked accounts. (You can also reset your passcode here if you’ve forgotten it.)
- PIN number
- To request your Number Transfer PIN, dial *7678 from your AT&T phone and enter your passcode when prompted. You’ll receive a temporary 4-digit Number Transfer PIN in your messages.
- Additional Information
- Most AT&T accounts are locked by defaults, and “Wireless Account Lock” must be disabled before AT&T will allow your number to be transferred. To disable Account Lock in the myAT&T app:
