A squirrelly guide to making Switch Mobile your main line so calls, messages, and data always use our network without any branch-jumping.
Making Switch Mobile your default line ensures all your calls, texts, and data flow through the Switch network — no more juggling branches!
Steps to Set Your Default Line
- Open Settings → Cellular → Cellular Plans You’ll see all lines installed on your iPhone, including your Switch Mobile eSIM or physical SIM.
- Tap “Default Voice Line” Select your Switch Mobile line. This sets it as the default for calls and SMS.
- Set Default Data Line (Optional but Recommended) Go to Settings → Cellular → Cellular Data Choose Switch Mobile to make sure your mobile data always runs on Switch’s network.
- Label Your Line (Optional) Tap Cellular Plans → Switch Mobile → Label Line Give it a name like “Switch Mobile” to spot it easily.
Tips
- iMessage & FaceTime: Make sure your Switch Mobile number is selected under Settings → Messages → Send & Receive and Settings → FaceTime → Caller ID.
- Dual SIM Users: You can keep another line for business or backup, but Switch Mobile will handle your main calls, texts, and data.
Now your iPhone is fully tuned to Switch Mobile’s network — smooth, fast, and always connected, just like a squirrel hopping to the best branch.
